Music is Saving the World
I created this track for your relaxation and healing. I spent an afternoon on the Winter Solstice preparing this recording, documenting my current progress as a healing musician. If you haven't already, please press play before you begin reading the remainder of this message.
This track has been carefully crafted to help you relax. First, by catching the attention of your body’s rhythmic systems with a more upbeat rhythm and tempo, then transitioning into a slower, more gentle rhythm designed to leave you in a more peaceful state than in which you began.
This is my chance to give you a small taste of the work I’ve been able to bring to thousands of people in the three years since graduating from CIIS as a certified sound healer. I subsequently became a Certified Music Practitioner for health care settings. In the six short months since I was hired as a bedside musician part time at a hospital, I’ve made just shy of 500 bedside visits, bringing music to inspire relaxation, wholeness, and peace. And that’s not counting the thousands of people I’ve been able to touch while playing in the hallways and at the nursing stations.
Would you mind taking a moment to think of an individual or a facility that you think would benefit from therapeutic music provided by a trained professional? I am a fully certified and insured professional with years of experience who has brought prescriptive healing music to people in every part of the journey of life, including some people at the moment of dying.
I am currently on staff at Kaiser Permanente Hospital. I also play regularly at senior living facilities, primarily serving residents with memory loss.
Your referral to facilities or individuals is a priceless gift, as it allows me to connect the joy of healing music with those most truly in need.
I thank you for your thoughtful support.
Sincerely,
Alex Jacobs, CMP
